Support that starts with connection

Communication looks different for every child.

At Speak With Me SLP, care is designed to meet children where they are—and help families feel confident about the road ahead. Every plan begins with listening.

All communication counts. I support children who communicate through speech, AAC, gestures, signs, facial expressions, body language, scripts, and more.

CONNECT

I build relationships before we build goals.

COMMUNICATE

I honor every child's unique way of communicating.

CONFIDENCE

I create meaningful opportunities for children and families to feel capable, understood, and empowered.

The Speak With Me approach

Connection. Communication. Confidence.

I build relationships before I build goals. I honor every child's unique way of communicating. I create meaningful opportunities for children and families to feel capable, understood, and empowered.

Our Philosophy
A different way to think about speech therapy

Neuroaffirming. Child-led. Play-based.

I don’t believe children need to change who they are to communicate. We celebrate each child’s strengths, interests, communication style, and unique way of experiencing the world.

Neuroaffirming care

A safe, judgment-free space where stimming is honored, sensory needs are understood, and every child's communication, autonomy, and participation are supported.

Child-led therapy

We follow your child's interests through play, connection, and meaningful routines to create natural opportunities for communication to grow.

Communication for every child

We support all forms of communication, including speech, AAC, gestures, signs, scripts, and echolalia. Every form of communication counts.

What I diagnose & treat

Thoughtful support for every communicator.

Every child communicates differently—and sometimes they need a little extra support to find their voice, connect with others, and communicate with confidence.

All communication counts. I support children who communicate through speech, AAC, gestures, signs, facial expressions, body language, scripts, and more.

Meet Noor

Hi, I’m Noor.

أهلاً، أنا نور

Hi, I'm Noor—a pediatric SLP who believes communication starts with connection.

I became a speech-language pathologist because I believe communication is about so much more than saying the “right” words. Communication is how we tell someone what we need, share something that makes us laugh, ask for help, say “no,” and connect with the people we love.

Arabic-speaking families are welcome here. Noor provides bilingual Arabic-English support, including therapy, evaluations, and Arabic report translation upon request.

Common questions

Wondering what comes next?

Starting speech-language services can bring a lot of questions. Here are a few places to begin.

See All FAQs →
Is my child talking enough? Should I be concerned?+

That's one of the most common questions parents have—and it's a meaningful one. A consultation is a great place to share what you're noticing and ask questions. If appropriate, we can recommend an evaluation or next step. You don't have to figure it out alone.

What if my child doesn't cooperate during therapy?+

That's okay—and expected! Therapy is designed to meet children where they are. We follow your child's lead, use play and their favorite things, and build trust before asking them to participate. Sessions don't have to look like sitting at a table.

Should we consider AAC?+

AAC can support many children—including those who are developing spoken language. It isn't a last resort, and introducing it doesn't stop speech development. We'd be happy to talk through whether AAC might be a good fit for your child.

What does a typical session look like?+

Sessions are play-based and child-led. We might be blowing bubbles, racing cars, making pretend pizza, reading a favorite book, or playing pretend. When children are engaged in something meaningful, communication has somewhere to grow.
